This easy craft is perfect for kids crafting parties. It’s so simple that you can have your kids make these “flowers” all on their own!
- Coffee Filters
- Paper Snips
- Paint (Red and Yellow)
- Glue Stick
- Plate (or something to paint on)
Directions for making DIY coffee filter flowers
- Take the coffee filters and crumple them up in your hand. Cut out 2 different-sized flowers from each one (a big, bold one for the center of your flower arrangement) and 4 smaller circles for petals.
- Now let your child dip their paintbrush in the red paint (for the center) and press each flower into their plate of yellow paint for petals.
- Glue a dot of glue onto the back of each circle that has dried and then stick them onto the center circle to create your flower arrangement.
